Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide hospitalist care for admitted patients during assigned shifts
- Conduct morning rounds and manage patient care plans
- Respond to inpatient needs and emergencies as they arise throughout the shift
- Take out-of-house call after rounds until the next morning
- Collaborate with hospital staff to support quality patient care
- Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation and communication
Additional Information
- Current license to practice in New Mexico required
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required
- Prior experience as a rural health hospitalist provider preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- NPDB documentation must be provided with the application
