Required Skills:
- Valid Texas Medical Board license
- Current DEA registration certificate
- National Provider Identifier (NPI#)
- Proven experience in general medical evaluation and treatment
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in a psychiatric or hospital setting
- Knowledge of infection control protocols
- Prior experience in public health or administrative roles
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO)
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical environment, preferably in a psychiatric or public health setting
- Demonstrated ability to manage clinical teams and oversee infection control activities
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start as soon as possible
- Willingness to participate in disaster response or Continuity of Operations (COOP) activities, which may require shift or location adjustments
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
