We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Primary Care MD to join a well-established outpatient practice in Auburn, CA or Grass Valley, CA. About the Role:
This outpatient primary care position is based in Auburn, CA and Grass Valley, CA, with a start date of January 1st and ongoing for at least three months. The role offers a flexible schedule of 4 or 5 days per week, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. With a typical patient load of 16-18 per day, you'll deliver essential services such as acute and chronic care, well-women exams, minor procedures, allergies, and more. Support staff includes frontend office personnel, LVNs, RNs, and MAs to ensure smooth operations, allowing you to focus on patient care. The practice uses the ECW EMR system and offers travel and lodging accommodations for those coming from out of the area.
Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Family Medicine (must be current and verified)
- Active CA Medical License and DEA registration
- CA CAQH profile, Medi-Cal, and Medicare credentialing completed or in progress
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in outpatient primary care
- Ability to perform basic outpatient procedures, manage acute and chronic conditions, and conduct well-women exams
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate patient care approach
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APRs) or other team members
- Familiarity with ECW EMR system and recent outpatient experience
- Bilingual abilities or experience serving diverse patient populations
- Additional certifications in allergy or minor procedures
Other Requirements:
- Ability to obtain LiveScan in California
- Willingness to traverse driving distances (drive-in candidates preferred, but not required)
- Commitment to a 90-day onboarding period, with ongoing employment opportunities possible
