Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) – Locum Tenens

This is a full-time, long-term - Monday - Friday locum assignment offering stability, continuity of care, and the opportunity to practice comprehensive family medicine in a mission-driven environment.
Assignment Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 5 days per week, 8 hour days
Setting: Outpatient Family Health Clinic
Assignment Length: 1-year contract with extension opportunities
Patient Population: Adult and Pediatric
Schedule: No weekends no Holidays
Support: Collaborative, experienced clinical and administrative team, including multiple NP's, MD's, RN's and CMA's
Job Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions for patients of all ages
Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests
Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications within clinical privileges
Refer patients for specialty care as appropriate
Educate patients and families on health conditions and preventive care
Document all encounters accurately in the electronic health record (RPMS)
Participate in quality improvement and medical staff activities
Support public health initiatives and community-based care as needed

Qualifications
Board Certification/Eligibility — Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible through the American Board of Family Medicine.
Active DEA Registration — Required to prescribe controlled substances.
Certifications — Required: Basic Life Support (BLS)
Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) , Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Citizenship — Must be a U.S. citizen living primarily within the United States.
Experience — A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience is required.
Credentialing — Must complete all credentialing requirements within 10 days of offer acceptance.
Federal Security Clearance — Must be willing and able to complete and pass the federal security clearance process.
