Position Overview
A community health clinic in California is seeking an experienced Family Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coverage in a flexible outpatient setting. The provider will work with patients of all ages, splitting time between a mobile clinic and a brick-and-mortar clinic.
Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required to serve a linguistically diverse patient population.
This is a 3–6 month assignment with flexible scheduling between 3 and 5 days per week. The practice sees an average of 18–21+ patients per day. Orientation is fully billable, and credentialing is completed within 30 days.

Skills & Experience

MD or DO degree from an accredited institution

Active California medical license (in hand required)

Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English required

BLS certification required

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Practice (BC preferred)

Minimum of 2 years of outpatient clinical experience

Comfortable treating pediatric and adult patient populations
Job Responsibilities

Provide outpatient primary care in both fixed clinic and mobile settings

Manage patient panels of all ages, including pediatrics

Conduct examinations, develop treatment plans, and follow up on care

Communicate effectively in Spanish and English with patients and families

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes

Document accurately and efficiently in EPIC EMR

Deliver culturally competent care to a diverse community
