We’re looking for an FM PCP for the long term, starting mid-December if possible. 3-6 months to start with, potential for extension. The Hiring manager is interviewing a few 3rd year family medicine residents, but these residents are not available to start until August or September 2026, so we need this locum through July or August 2026. At least 4 days/week, if they can do 5 days/week, that’s even better.
Things to note about this position:
- Epic EMR experience required
- 2 years of outpatient primary care experience required
- Active CA license
- Must be able to see all ages
- Clean background/Malpractice – any hits whatsoever will delay the privileging process so these candidates will not be considered
- Local candidates.
- BC is a plus, but must be BE

• Duration of contract: 26+ Weeks, potential for locums to perm
• Practice Setting: Primary Care
• Bill Rate: flexible

• Charting Software: Epic
• Ave. Daily Census: 18-20
• Patient Age Group: Adults
• Procedures (if applicable): Great if they can do common outpatient IM procedures (biopsies, sutures, etc.)
• Equipment: Normal equipment found in a primary care outpatient office.
• Board Certifications: Preferred but not required
• License Certifications: Must have unrestricted CA medical license, DEA certificate, BLS or ACLS
• State License: CA Required
• CSR: Must have a DEA
• DEA: Must have a DEA
• Years of Exp. Required: Must have at least 2 years of outpatient primary care experience
• Charting Exp. Required: Outpatient Epic experience
• Support Staff: Yes, there is support staff (practice manager, front office supervisor, medical assistants, patient care associates, etc. They will not have to supervise any staff.
