About the Company
Rise Health is a platform acquisition company re-engineering the traditional fee-for-service primary care model. We deliver an integrated, value-based clinical program built around partnerships with existing primary care practices. Through these partnerships, we migrate practices to our proprietary technology and data-driven platform to support profitable risk management in a value-based environment. Rise Health is backed by private equity sponsors and led by a management team with deep experience in healthcare investing.

Job Summary
Rise Health seeks a dynamic, visible, and engaging physician leader to serve as the organization’s National Medical Director (NMD). This is an exciting opportunity for a transformative leader who is passionate about reshaping healthcare delivery within a high-growth organization.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the NMD will oversee clinical operations and performance across all clinics in the Rise Health network. This leader will collaborate effectively with Rise executives, local clinical leaders, clinical providers, and senior operations teams. The NMD will ensure that the appropriate organizational structures—people, processes, and systems—are in place to support profitable growth, clinical excellence, exceptional service standards, and regulatory compliance.

In partnership with the leadership team, the NMD will help drive strategic initiatives, optimize care delivery, and support overall operational success. The ideal candidate brings experience leading a large, multi-state primary care organization and has demonstrated success building and expanding programs in a collaborative environment.

As a self-starter, the NMD must be able to effectively frame business, operational, clinical, and data-driven issues in a way that inspires confidence among internal and external stakeholders. A proven track record of leadership, quality care, strategic consistency, and adaptability is essential. This leader will guide Rise Health’s provider group through change with an understanding of high-growth environments and modern healthcare delivery.

A Doctor of Medicine degree (MD/DO) is required, along with completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program and current board certification. An advanced degree in business or healthcare management is preferred.
