Locums | Family Medicine Physician | No Call | Ferndale, CA Why This Role

  • Provide compassionate outpatient care in a community health center setting.
  • Work a steady Monday–Friday schedule with no call, hospital rounding, or inpatient duties.
  • Serve a diverse patient population in a collaborative environment with strong support staff.
Assignment Details Coverage Type: No Call Setting: Outpatient clinic Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8a–5p Start Date: February 23, 2026 End Date: Ongoing Patients per Day: 16–18 minimum (mix of adults and pediatrics, ages 12+) Support Staff: 1 RN, 2 MAs EMR: Epic Reason for Need: Vacancy due to permanent search Clinical Details Family medicine, outpatient only Chronic disease management and preventive care Preferred: well woman care, IUD insertion/removal Preferred: care for pediatric patients (newborn to adolescent) Requirements Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) Active California medical license BLS certification Active DEA prior to start Must complete required immunizations prior to start (Flu, TB, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap) Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Included Travel: Reimbursed
