We are seeking a Family Practice physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Alaska, starting Apr 13, 2026. This opportunity offers a mix of primary care and urgent care cases, with a day shift schedule Monday through Friday and a rotational Saturday shift every 4-6 weeks. Candidates with experience in IHS, tribal, or rural settings, as well as Peds/OBGYN, are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide a mix of primary care and urgent care services to a diverse patient population
- Perform patient evaluations, diagnostics, and treatment planning
- Manage both acute and chronic conditions in outpatient settings
- Deliver care across all age groups, with pediatric and OBGYN cases as a plus
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EMR
- Adhere to all clinical protocols and quality standards
Additional Information
- Must hold an active Alaska medical license
- Required board certification: Family Medicine
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA, PALS
- Experience in IHS, tribal, or rural healthcare settings preferred
- Pediatric and OBGYN experience is a strong advantage
