A well-established community health organization in New Haven County is seeking an infectious disease or primary care physician with HIV and Hepatitis experience to join their established team. They offer free health insurance for individuals and families, as well as CME, PTO and a profit sharing program after 1 year of employment!

Job Description:


Compensation : $220000 - $230000 Job ID : 25094

Job Function:

  • Infectious Disease chief looking to have additional physician join the growing team.
  • 70% primary care and 30% infectious disease care.
  • HIV, Hepatitis main services care for, opportunity to follow patients for primary care.
  • Organization is an FQHC offering primary care, behavioral health and dental health services.
  • Monday-Friday schedule 8am-4:30pm.
  • Call schedule: 9 weeks out of the year (every 5-6 weeks) to carry pager during week and work for 4 hours on a Saturday for extra pay.
  • Average of 18-20 patients scheduled per day, expect some no-shows.
  • Approximately 1 RN for every 2 providers and support from medical assistants.
  • Federal tort malpractice.

Job Requirements:

  • Training in Infectious Disease, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine to be considered.
  • License in the state of CT.
  • Board Certification.
  • Candidates graduating from residency in the next 12 months encouraged to apply.

Training in Infectious Disease, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine to be considered.
License in the state of CT.
