Job Description:
Compensation : $220000 - $250000 Job ID : 32682
Job Function:
- The physician will work at Queens airport providing physicals and injury assessments of employees.
- No on-call responsibilities, standard business hours, and flexible scheduling (9-5 or 10-6).
- Conduct primary care evaluations, general health assessments, and mental health assessments for patients in the disability and workers' compensation programs.
- Evaluate patients with short-term injuries or chronic conditions to determine their ability to work and overall mental well-being.
- Assess mental health status, identifying conditions such as depression and anxiety, and monitor for red flags related to prescription management.
- Diagnose medical conditions, manage chronic health issues, and coordinate care by referring most Medicaid long-term cases to external providers.
Job Requirements:
- State license, DEA, CSR (active or applied preferred) but not required
Residency training in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine or Occupational Medicine Training - Workers Compensation Number preferred, but not required
- DOT Certification required
