As Program Director, you will oversee curriculum development, faculty mentorship, resident recruitment, and program administration while maintaining a small clinical practice to stay engaged in patient care. Qualifications:
Education, Training, or Certifications Required
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Current board certification in Family Medicine
Current Maine medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
Member in good standing of the Active Medical Staff
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience Required
Minimum of 3 years in clinical family medicine
Prior experience in medical education preferred
Demonstrated commitment to rural healthcare and understanding of the unique needs of rural communities
5 years of experience in medicine preferred
Leadership and mentoring experience strongly desired
