Clinical Role: Pathologist
  • Full time, permanent position
  • Rotating Call approximately 1:4
  • Join a team of 3 full-time Pathologists
  • General surgical pathology sign-out with a role in oversight of the clinical laboratories
  • Clinical laboratory tests, including surgical pathology and cytopathology specimens
  • Volume is approximately 13,000 surgical specimens per year
  • Approximately 5000 gynecologic cytology specimens and 1000 non-gynecologic specimens per year with occasional rapid on-site evaluation
  • Involved in clinical consults which primarily include evaluation of peripheral blood smears and blood bank serology
  • Involved in general surgical and breast cancer conferences
  • No autopsies are performed at this hospital.




Background:
  • BE/BC in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
  • Active MA license
