Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients in a Family Practice setting
- Deliver care to a patient population that is approximately 75 percent Spanish-speaking, with support from translators and bilingual medical assistants
- Manage a patient panel with 78 percent Medical/Medicaid coverage
- Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and workflow
- Ensure compliance with all relevant clinical protocols and guidelines
Additional Information
- Locum experience is required
- Experience in FQHC, Rural Health, or IHS settings is preferred
- Recent experience in a Family Practice setting is mandatory; Internal Medicine and Pediatrics-only experience will not be accepted
- Must possess an active California medical license, DEA registration, and furnishing license
- Required board certification in Family Medicine
- Providers should be prepared to discuss any anticipated time off prior to assignment
