Coverage Needed:
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Ongoing
- Schedule: Monday to Friday and will be back up call for midlevel support
- Primary ED Call: 3 days per month
- Backup ED Call: Shared with other contracted physicians
Clinical Details:
- Family Practice & Emergency Department Physician
- Clinic, inpatient, nursing homes, and ER coverage
- Critical Access Hospitals
- 12 to 20 patients per day
- ER Volume: 2.5 patients per day
- Average daily hospital census: 2 to 3 patients
- If acute, will go to swing bed or observation patients
- Transfer anything of high acuity out
- No ICU or OB services
- Support Staff: Seasoned midlevels, 6 PRNs, 1 full-time PA
- Call: Not much call, will be the supervising physician for the midlevels
Requirements:
- ACLS and PALS certification required
- Strong interest in relocating
