In this crucial position, you'll provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, fostering healthier communities through your expertise. Required Skills:
- Valid State License (CA) in hand
- DEA certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience in outpatient settings
- Fluency in Spanish
- Comfortable working with both pediatric and adult patients
- Ability to work in diverse clinical environments, including mobile clinics and brick-and-mortar settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Board Certification in Family Practice (preferred but not required; Board Eligible candidates accepted)
- Experience with Epic EMR or similar electronic charting software
- Prior work in mobile or school-based clinics
- Additional language skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical Degree (MD), completed in accordance with licensing requirements
- At least 2 years of outpatient primary care experience
- Current California medical licensure (in-hand)
- DEA registration
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work at both mobile and brick-and-mortar clinics
- Attending a full week of orientation (Monday to Friday) prior to start
- Flexibility to work day shifts (10:00 – 19:00), scheduled 5 days a week, no call
- Coverage length ranging from 13 to 26 weeks with potential for extension
- Ability to adapt to changing daily needs in the clinic environment
