Salary Range:
$245,000 – $290,000 Annually
Overview:
Seeking a compassionate, mission-driven physician for a meaningful role focused on delivering equitable and inclusive healthcare. This position supports underserved communities, particularly LGBTQ+ populations, in a welcoming and affirming environment.
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the Physician provides comprehensive medical care by assessing patient health, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and promoting preventative care. Responsibilities include performing clinical exams, prescribing treatment, educating patients, coordinating with specialists, and supervising medical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat medical conditions
Develop individualized care plans
Conduct exams and order diagnostic tests
Prescribe medication and monitor outcomes
Educate patients on health and prevention
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
Collaborate with and supervise clinical staff
Refer to specialists as needed
Promote health equity and culturally competent care
Qualifications:
M.D. or D.O. with valid license and board certification
2+ years of clinical experience
Knowledge of HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, and chronic disease care preferred
Proficient in EMR systems and charting
Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working in diverse, inclusive, and LGBTQ+ affirming settings
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
