Looking for a highly compensated, flexible practice that allows you to live where you want? Hamilton County Hospital (Syracuse, KS) offers two physician models designed for lifestyle, balance, and stability.

You don’t need to relocate to rural Kansas—many of our physicians live in Oklahoma City (our headquarters), Denver, or Wichita and commute for scheduled weeks.

Option 1: Single Physician Model

• Compensation: $400,000-$425,000/year
• Schedule & Flexibility:
  • 26 weeks/year on-site (2 out of every 4 weeks)
  • 16 weeks/year remote supervision of APPs (from home or locally)
  • 10 weeks vacation annually
• Duties:
  • ER call (low volume, average 2 patients/24 hrs) from home
  • Inpatient rounding: Acute daily, Skilled weekly, LTC monthly
  • Outpatient clinic (M–F)
  • Occasional executive team visits to other hospitals
• Census: 3–4 ADC acute/skilled, 13 LTC, 8 clinic

Option 2: Two-Physician Team Model

• Compensation: $300,000/year each
• Schedule & Flexibility:
  • Shared 26 weeks/year of community call/coverage
  • Coordinate coverage with partner to minimize travel frequency
  • 25 weeks vacation annually
  • ~1 week/year executive duties
• Duties & Census: Same as above
