Practice Type: Outpatient + Newborn Nursery | Position Type: Full-Time | Status: Permanent
Clinical Role
Outstanding opportunity for a full-time Family Medicine Physician to join a large, well-established outpatient practice in West Branch, Michigan. This position includes a unique opportunity for Newborn Nursery rounding on call days, offering a broader clinical experience in a supportive team environment.
Position Highlights
- Established outpatient practice
- Full-scope family medicine across the lifespan
- Newborn rounding required during call rotation days
- One-stop healthcare setting:
- Primary Care, X-Ray, Laboratory, Urgent Care, and Occupational Health services all under one roof
- Call: 1:3, supported by nurse triage line
- Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Comprehensive family medicine including:
- Preventive care
- Chronic disease management
- Acute illness treatment
- Emotional and social health care from birth through adulthood
- U.S. medical degree or equivalent (MD/DO)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine residency
- Eligible for unrestricted Michigan medical license and Controlled Substance License
- Community growth and return of obstetrics services
- Increasing demand for newborn and family care services
