Locums | Urgent Care (APP) | No Call | Henderson, NC Why This Role

  • Outpatient urgent care coverage with average 20 patients per day
  • Flexible ongoing schedule with multiple locations within 65-mile radius
  • Supportive team environment with MA, Center Manager, and offsite supervising physician
  • Lives within 65-mile radius of sites
Requirements NC license Board Certified NP (Family or Urgent Care) or PA (NCCPA) BLS Minimum 12 months of urgent care or emergency medicine experience Must be able to work independently as sole provider Clean history Local candidates Assignment Details Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Type of Coverage: No Call Schedule: Shifts vary, provider availability must be listed with bid Orientation: Modified Epic training schedule required EMR: Epic Clinical Details Setting: Outpatient urgent care center Patients Per Day: Average 20, up to 40 Ages: 6 months through adult Procedures: I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, other minor urgent care procedures Support Staff: 1 MA, Center Manager, 2 office staff, offsite supervising physician Skills Needed Independent urgent care practice for both pediatric and adult patients Minor procedures including wound repair and drainage Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and staff Compensation Rate (capped): $85/hr Malpractice: Provided Travel: Mileage reimbursed
