Family Medicine Physician in North Carolina - Weekdays Only
Primary care coverage near Raleigh at a long-term care center; full-time schedule with minimal phone-only call.
Highlights
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
- Phone-only call; shared among four physicians

Practice Setting
- Long-term care facility for adults with psychiatric illness and dementia
- Mix of adult and geriatric patients
- On-site support: pharmacy, psych, dental, rehab, and care team
- Epic EMR with Dragon dictation
Schedule
- Weekdays onsite; no weekends required
- Weeknight call: 4:30 PM-8:00 AM by phone
- Weekend call: rotating 24-hour pager coverage from home
Cases and Procedures
- Daily rounding, admissions, discharges, care assessments
- Review labs, imaging, and medication plans
- Participate in care plan meetings and family updates
Requirements
- MD or DO with active North Carolina license
- BC/BE in Family or Internal Medicine
- BLS and DEA required
- Geriatrics or long-term care experience preferred
Travel Accommodations
- Near Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU)
- Rate is all-inclusive (travel/lodging not billed separately)
