Family Medicine Locums Physician, North Carolina - Phone Call Only
Primary care locums near Raleigh, North Carolina, with weekday clinic hours and phone-only call from home.
Highlights
- Monday through Friday, no weekend rounding
- Phone call only; shared rotation with 3 physicians
- Long-term need due to retirement

Practice Setting
- Adult and geriatric patients in a long-term care facility
- Supported by pharmacy, rehab, and psych teams
- Collaborative physician group onsite
- Dedicated office, Epic EMR, and Dragon dictation
Schedule
- Weekdays, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Weekday call: phone only, 4:30 pm to 8:00 am
- Weekend call: rotating, 24-hour pager from home
Cases and Procedures
- Daily rounds, assessments, H&Ps, and discharges
- Lab and imaging reviews, med adjustments
- Participation in interdisciplinary team meetings
Requirements
- MD or DO with active North Carolina license
- Board Certified or Eligible in Family or Internal Medicine
- BLS and DEA required
- Geriatrics or long-term care experience preferred
Travel Accommodations
- Near Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU)
- Travel and lodging should be built into the hourly rate
