JOB OVERVIEW
• Job Title: Physician / APP – Internal Medicine
• Job Type: Locum Tenens
• Location: Cheshire, CT
• Service Setting: Outpatient
• Coverage Type: Clinical Only
• Coverage Period: ASAP – Ongoing
• Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8a – 5p (8-hour shifts)
COVERAGE DATES
• October 1, 2025 – March 31, 2026
PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: Adults (18+)
• Patient Volume/Census: Gradual ramp-up to approx. 18 patients/day
• Admissions: No
• Phone Consults: No
• Case Mix: Primary Care / Internal Medicine
FACILITY INFORMATION
• Specialty Backup Available: Physician and APP on-site (may work solo once ramped up)
• Support Staff Available: APPs, administrative support
• Reason for Coverage: Replacement of 2 FTE providers who departed
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
• Hospital Privileges Required: No
• Credentialing Timeline: TBD
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered
REQUIRED PROCEDURES

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active CT license preferred
• Board: MD/DO preferred; open to strong APPs; BC/BE preferred
• DEA: Active DEA Certification preferred
• Certifications: BLS/ACLS preferred but not required
• Experience: Primary Care/Internal Medicine experience preferred
• Other Qualifications: Ability to work independently once ramped up
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide primary care to adult patients in an outpatient setting
• Build patient panel gradually up to ~18 patients/day
• Collaborate with support staff and potentially work solo once established
• Deliver care Monday through Friday during standard business hours
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
