Optometrist

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality optometric evaluations and treatments
- Manage general ocular health cases
- Collaborate with team members, including participating in EMR training and shadowing
- Serve a diverse patient population, ideally speaking Spanish
- Drive to clinic locations as needed
Required Skills:
- Valid optometry license and board certification
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Nice to Have Skills:
- Bilingual (Spanish fluency)
- Experience in hospital or FQHC settings
- Ability to drive to multiple clinic locations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of clinical practice experience
Other Requirements:
- Candidates must be local or able to self-fund travel; client does not cover travel expenses
- Availability to work at least on Wednesdays and Fridays, with potential for additional hours at other locations
- Credentialing process may take 60-90 days
- Preference for candidates comfortable with day shift (09:00 - 17:00)
