HSHS Medical Group is recruiting an experienced BE/BC Primary Care Physician (IM or FM) to join our team at our clinic in Mattoon, IL. We are able to support both J1 and H1B Visa needs at this location.
Mattoon is located at the intersection of interstate highway I-57 & IL Rt. 16 making it just 45 minutes away from the University of Illinois and has easy interstate access to all the major cities of Chicago, St. Louis and Indianapolis. Mattoon is also just an 18 minute drive to Charleston, IL - home to Eastern Illinois University. Surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes, including Lake Charleston, which provides opportunities for boating, fishing, and other outdoor activities, Charleston offers an abundance of outdoor recreation opportunities.
HSHS Medical Group works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System.
Practice Highlights

100% Outpatient Practice
Monday-Friday weekly schedule with an option of a 4 or 5 day work week

Position Requirements
-Unrestrictive Illinois license prior to start
-Board Certified or Board Eligibility
-2+ years of prior practicing experience is preferred, but not required
Compensation & Benefits Package
Base salary with bonus earning potential

Pay range: $300,000-$399,406 (inclusive of both family and internal med)

Education Qualifications
Education Qualifications
- Clinical doctorate is required.
- Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required.
- Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.
- Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
- Must be board certified or board eligible.
