Family Medicine Physician Opening in Sherburne, NY Location: 50 miles from Syracuse and 116 miles from Albany Salary Range: $320,000-$374,000 Visa Sponsorship Available. Overview: Our progressive, academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University is seeking a full-time Family Medicine MD/DO to join our progressive health care team in Sherburne, NY. Visa Sponsorship Available. Located on the northern edge of the southern tier region of New York State, the village of Sherburne is located in Chenango County. To the north, the village is about 15 minutes from Hamilton, home to Colgate University, and south of the village is the city of Norwich, New York. The area is abundant with four-season cultural and recreational activities including cross-country skiing, hunting, hiking, biking, camping, museums, theater, and much more. Job Description & Responsibilities:
- a (NYS) Patient-Centered Medical Home recognized through the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home standards emphasize the use of systematic, patient-centered, coordinated care that supports access, communication, and patient involvement
- Join an established group of Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians
- Traditional outpatient practice, Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM
- No OB
- Generative AI Scribes offered to all Primary Care Physicians to help decrease time and stress associated with notes
- Innovative Inbasket Ninja Program in place for Primary Care that covers inbaskets of any departed providers or providers on leave or vacation
- Fully integrated EPIC Electronic Medical Record
- A first call system is in place with a nurse practitioner/physician assistant on call for your patients
- Salary Range: $320,000-$374,000. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
- Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment
- Residency stipend up to $45,000 available up to 18 months prior to graduation
- Sign-on Bonus up to $200,000
- Loan Repayment may be available through Federal and State Loan Repayment Programs
