Wonderful opportunity for a full-time Family Medicine physician to join a patient centered clinic known for its personalized approach to treating the whole person. We are seeking a long-term Family Medicine physician who is excited about our vision to join the team. This position provides direct patient care in accordance with established clinic protocols. We are a privately owned faith-based practice in the Ashland, Mansfield, Shelby areas of Ohio. Our 15 member multi-specialty clinic also offers medical , optometry, pediatric, and chiropractic services to a diverse population in the surrounding communities. Our patient population is 55% Amish and Mennonite, and we serve both cash payers and insured patients. Staff currently consists of 1 physicians and 2 advanced practitioners. Physicians would average 10-20 patients daily.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree and board certification in Family Medicine
  • Valid state medical license in Ohio
  • DEA licensure in Ohio
  • Demonstrated expertise in Family Medicine
  • Able to perform procedures (orthopedic injuries, would care, laceration repair, excision of skin lesions, etc.)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of current medical practices and treatments
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
  • Encouraged but not required: knowledge around electronic healthcare documenting
  • Desire to work in a faith-based practice
  • Experience working with Amish and Mennonite and cash payers a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages
  • Work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide multidisciplinary care to ensure that patients receive the highest quality of care
  • Conduct physical examinations and medical evaluations of patients
  • Diagnose and treat common medical conditions
  • Create and implement treatment plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary
  • Counsel patients on health and wellness issues
  • Prescribe medications as needed
  • Care for the whole person (spiritually, mentally, and physically)

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in clinical setting (preferred)
