Primary Care Physician | Outpatient | Value-Based Care Model | Mobile, AL

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Primary Care Physician to serve patients in Mobile, Alabama — where you'll experience strong support, reduced panel sizes, and a rewarding practice environment centered on patient outcomes.

Position Highlights

• Outpatient only – no hospital rounding

• Smaller patient panels = More time per patient

• Work within a robust, collaborative care team:

  • Advanced Practice Providers

  • Pharmacists

  • Behavioral Health

  • Quality-based coders

  • Care Coordinators & more

• Minimal call requirements

• Daily team huddles & interdisciplinary collaboration

• Documentation support from quality coders

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care aligned with value-based care standards

• Participate in daily team huddles and contribute clinical leadership

• Collaborate on care plans, referrals, and care transitions (SNFs, DME, Home Health)

• Complete documentation in a timely manner using EMR

• Support continuous quality improvement and patient satisfaction

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics

• Active/unrestricted AL medical license (or ability to obtain)

• DEA license, Medicare & Medicaid provider numbers

• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to team-based care

• Familiarity with EMR systems and basic computer skills

• Willingness to adapt to a value-based care model

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Medicare Advantage and risk-based models

• Knowledge of HEDIS, STARS, CAHPS, HOS

• Background working in underserved or culturally diverse communities

• Experience with electronic health records
