Job description
Christian non-profit ministry in western Georgia is seeking Family Medicine Physician. Staff consists of 3 physicians and 3 advanced practitioners who each average 20 patients daily. Outpatient only opportunity and call is telephone call only. The ideal candidate must desire to do Christian mission work for the poor in western Georgia and the surrounding areas. Seeking someone who desires to care for physical, emotional and spiritual needs to not only adults but children also. Candidate must love Jesus and also love caring for his people medically.
- We are able to pray directly with patients open to prayer in the exam room.
- There is also a prayer box that patients can leave prayer requests for a group of ladies that offer prayer on a biweekly basis - we are especially grateful for this outside group of prayer warriors that help support our clinic and patients.
- We have seasons of bible studies in the evening time.
- We offer a small support group for patients suffering from depression and anxiety.
One of the goals we have amongst staff is to live out the phrase "they will know us by our love." We want Christ to be magnified by our love for one another. Each morning sets our hearts on the Lord our God through daily devotionals and before our monthly clinic wide Family Meeting, we have a time of worship and devotion.
Every year, there are 2 life-giving group events: one is a summer retreat for the staff and the second is our annual Christmas party. The former includes a speaker that encourages us in the hardships but ultimate hope of our work!
Mission: We exist to proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and to demonstrate His love by providing affordable quality primary healthcare for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the underserved in our area.
