San Marcos Family Medicine, a well-respected, physician-led primary care practice in the heart of Central Texas, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join our growing team. - Independently operated, private practice model
- Multi-provider team: Join 3 board certified physicians and 7 advanced practice providers in Family Medicine, Urgent Care, and Preventive Medicine.
- Fully integrated on-site services, including labs, x-ray, ultrasound, allergy testing, hormone replacement therapy, weight loss and more
- Opportunity to conduct clinical research and participate in clinical trials through a Javara partnership
- Dedicated support from experienced clinical and administrative staff
- Efficient EMR system (athena)
- Convenient location between Austin and San Antonio
Position Highlights:
- Full-spectrum outpatient Family Medicine for all ages
- Four day work week schedule with shared after-hours call (minimal volume)
- Average 1822 patients per day
- Option to incorporate urgent care shifts, procedures, or other clinical interests
- Collaborative environment with mentorship opportunities available
- Strong referral network within the community
Qualifications:
- MD or DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in Family Medicine
- Texas medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
- New graduates welcome; experienced candidates also encouraged
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care
