Job description
A full-time Family Medicine Physician is needed to join an established rural medicine team in Tonasket, Washington. This is a unique opportunity for an autonomous family physician to work in a small, supportive practice that covers both the Tonasket and Oroville clinics.
The ideal candidate will embrace rural practice, be team-oriented, and enjoy a meaningful, patient-centered role in a tight-knit community.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with a team of two physicians and three advanced practice providers.
Supervise and support APPs in their clinical roles.
Educate patients and families with clear, compassionate communication.
Accurately document patient encounters and maintain thorough medical records.
Utilize Epic Electronic Medical Record system.
Participate in quality improvement and patient care initiatives.
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
Ability to obtain and maintain an active Washington State medical license.
Open to J1 visa candidates.
Comfortable with the nuances of rural, autonomous practice.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience supervising APPs preferred but not required.
Working Hours
Four-day work week.
Daytime clinic hours.

Proficient in Epic EMR.

Effective patient education and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a rural setting.
Strong clinical documentation capabilities.
