Overview:
- Seeking a BE/BC Family Medicine physician to join their well-established practice and serve as Medical Director.
- This outpatient-only practice provides comprehensive care for the entire family through all phases of life and is supported by a service area population of more than 428,000.
- The practice is in a multi-specialty clinic where collaboration with Rheumatology, Infectious Disease, Internal Medicine, Nephrology, Travel Medicine and Pulmonary physicians' partnership is abundant.
- Lab, DEXA Bone Density Scan, and medical imaging are all onsite!
- The Medical Director of the Family Medicine Department is a key physician leadership role for the Clinic and the Rapid City Market with primary responsibilities for creating excellence in quality, safety, patient experience, best practices, and productivity within the Family Medicine group.
- The Medical Director is responsible for supporting the recruitment of physicians and advanced practice providers, developing, and supporting the Health System onboarding process and promoting and mentoring physician leadership within the team.
- In addition, he/she will work with the Executive Medical Director to set the goals and objectives of the family medicine department.

Qualifications:
- Leadership experience including areas such as medical staff leadership, department leadership, or quality and safety leadership highly preferred
- Candidates with leadership education/certifications such as those provided by American Association of Physician Leadership, specialty societies, or advanced degrees such as MPH, MHA, MBA highly desirable
