We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine for an exciting Locum opportunity in Franklin, VA
Start Date: As soon as credentialed! Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7a - 6p (1 hour lunch) or Monday - Friday 8a-5p (1 hour lunch) or Monday - Thursday 7a -5:30p (30 min lunch)
Position Overview:
Practice Setting: Clinic
Are You a Subsidiary of a Larger Organization: Bon Secours Hampton Roads Medical Group
Call Schedule: 1 week of call every 6 weeks for Southampton Practices only, Monday thru Monday at 7 AM the following week
Call Ratio: 1:6
Average Number of Patients Per Day: 20-25
How Many Mid-Levels Provide Coverage: 1 in office
Will the Locum be Responsible for Supervising Other Health Care Providers: No
Will the Locum Tenens Physician Respond to In-House Codes: No
Will the Locum Tenens Physician be Expected to Provide Backup for the ED: No
Number of Exam Rooms: 2
Average number of OB patients Per Day: 0
Services Available On-Site: blood draw
Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
Trauma Level/Designation: N/A
Emergency Supplies Available: AED
Practice Population: Adult, Geriatric, Teenager (16 and up)
Required General Procedures: General Family Practice
Required Medicine Procedures: Adult Outpatient, Without ICU/CCU
Required Pediatric Procedures: General Outpatient
Requirement:
Board Certified - REQUIRED
Active VA license (willing to accept those who will obtain) - REQUIRED
BLS - REQUIRED
Provider Must be Local - Only Mileage is Reimbursed - REQUIRED
