Locum Need in North Dakota: Board Certified Family Physician needed at urgent care clinic!
- Flexible schedule: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off OR 1 week on, 1 week off (open to full-time too)
- 6-month contract
- Shifts are M-F, 8-hour days
- Weekend coverage available
- Cases: Flu, allergies, sports injuries, emergency cases- sutures and splints, infections/ bronchitis
- population: All-ages
Job Responsibilities
Cases: Flu, allergies, sports injuries, emergency cases- sutures and splints, infections/ bronchitis
Job duties:
Evaluate Acute Complaints
Diagnose and treat on the spot, often without long-term follow-up.
Prescribe Medications
Must have an active DEA license for controlled substances.
Perform Minor Procedures
Order and Interpret Basic Tests
Refer When Needed
Qualifications
ND license
DEA

Proficiency in minor procedures (e.g., suturing, wound care, abscess drainage)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Fast and accurate EMR documentation skills
Excellent communication with patients and clinic staff
Efficient time management in high-volume, fast-paced environments
