Amergis Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Care Physician to join our team in Houston, TX. This is a full-time, onsite position providing direct patient care and clinical oversight. The role includes collaborative responsibilities with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), reviewing charts and offering clinical guidance.
Job Responsibilities
Serve as the on-site medical authority, overseeing all aspects of healthcare delivery.
Provide direct care to a diverse patient population, including adults and children.
Conduct physical assessments, manage acute and chronic conditions, and respond to medical emergencies.
Supervise and collaborate with APPs, nursing staff, and other clinical personnel.
Review and approve referrals, lab results, and patient documentation.
Participate in performance improvement initiatives and staff training.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records.
