Job Responsibilities
Conduct routine physicals, preventive screenings, and chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension)
Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries
Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (lab work, X-rays, etc.)
Coordinate care with onsite specialists (cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, etc.)
Document patient encounters using the clinic's EMR system
Participate in clinic meetings and collaborative care discussions
Maintain a half-day weekly for administrative or personal time
Promote a patient-centered, family-oriented care philosophy
Qualifications
Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Eligible for Texas Medical License (must obtain prior to start date)
Authorized to work in the U.S. (J-1/H-1B visa support may not be available for this position)
