Looking for experienced and dedicated General Medicine Physicians to join our team as Locum Providers across Nevada. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact supporting our nation's Veterans through Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. If you are committed to delivering high-quality evaluations in an autonomous setting, this role offers flexibility, competitive compensation, and the chance to serve with a respected government contractor.
Positions are available in Pahrump, Gardnerville/Minden, and Ely, NV, requiring approximately half-day to full-day commitments weekly. Providers must have their own office setups within specified radii, with no treatment or prescribing involved—only interview-based assessments with physical components such as range of motion and muscle strength testing. This role is ideal for physicians with backgrounds in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine, particularly those experienced with compensation and pension evaluations.

Required skills include:
- Medical degree (MD or DO)
- Current medical license in Nevada
- Experience in general medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, or orthopedics
- Ability to perform interviews and physical assessments efficiently
- Strong documentation and report-writing capabilities
- Professionalism and comfort working independently in a clinic setting
Nice to have skills:
- Prior experience with VA or military-related assessments
- Certification in occupational health or disability evaluations
- Familiarity with medical diagnostics and documentation portals
Preferred education and experience:
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in relevant fields
- Proficiency in conducting COMP & PENSION examinations or related assessments
Other requirements:
- Must own a suitable office location within the specified radii
- Willing to work on a PRN basis, with flexible half or full-day shifts starting immediately on 03/06/2026
- Local candidates preferred, with travel included in rates
- Ability to complete exams, reports, and administrative tasks promptly
- No reimbursement for certifications or portal training outside of rates
