Are you a dedicated general medicine provider looking for a flexible, meaningful opportunity? We are seeking qualified Locum Physicians to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across Nevada. This vital role allows you to serve our nation's Veterans while enjoying a competitive hourly pay rate and the convenience of your own practice setting. Be part of a committed team supporting Veterans' health and benefits eligibility, all on a PRN basis with ongoing opportunities starting February 2, 2026.

Required Skills:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Active state license in Nevada
  • Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or general medicine
  • Strong interview and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testing
  • Ability to perform exam-based assessments with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Background in compensation and pension evaluations
  • Previous experience with Veterans' health assessments
  • Familiarity with VA or military healthcare systems
  • Certification in relevant specialties or additional training in disability examinations

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO)
  • Minimum of 1 year clinical practice in family medicine, internal medicine, or related fields
  • Prior experience in disability or compensation exams is advantageous

Other Requirements:
  • Own office space within the specified geographic areas (Pahrump, Gardnerville/Minden, Ely, NV)
  • Ability to perform exams within designated radius
  • Willingness to complete administrative follow-up work such as report submissions and addendums
  • This position involves no prescribing or treatment; purely assessment-based work
