JOB OVERVIEW
• Job Title: Physician – Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Job Type: Locum Tenens
• Location: Berlin, VT
• Service Setting: Outpatient | Primary Care
• Coverage Type: Clinical plus phone consults
• Coverage Period: 08/01/2025 – 12/31/2025
• Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, eight 4-hr sessions per week; one non-patient-facing day included
PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: Adult-only patient population
• Patient Volume/Census: 18–20 patients per day
• Phone Consults: Yes (telephone call coverage)
• Case Mix: General adult primary care
FACILITY INFORMATION
• EMR System: Epic
• Specialty Backup Available: Network provider support available
• Support Staff Available: RNs, LPNs, and MAs in clinic
• Reason for Coverage: Full-time coverage need
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Vermont medical license preferred
• Certifications: BLS required
• Board Status: Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Experience: Experience working within the UVM Health Network preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide primary care services in an outpatient adult medicine setting
• Participate in a telephone call rotation
• Collaborate with APP colleagues and network physicians
• Maintain documentation in Epic EMR
• Deliver culturally competent care to a diverse population
NOTES
• APPs in the clinic do not require supervision
• Telehealth experience is not required
