- Other Details: A community health center in Washington is seeking a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner for a full-time outpatient position, Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (40 hours/week), with an anticipated start as soon as credentialed (within 4 weeks preferred). The initial contract is for 3 months with potential to extend. Candidates must hold an active WA license, WA DEA, and have at least 2 years of FNP experience, including recent face-to-face care with both adult and pediatric patients. A clean background with no malpractice is required. Providers will see up to 18 patients per day, spanning all age groups from newborns to geriatrics, and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, community health setting serving vulnerable populations, including migrants and refugees (with on-site interpretation available). Clinical support includes a dedicated MA, reception staff, mental health therapists, dietitians, and onsite pediatricians. EMR is EPIC, and expected procedures include injections, IUD placements, and minor wound care. Orientation includes a one-week ramp-up, with patient care starting by day 3. Overtime is only approved if daily productivity is exceeded. Spanish or Russian language skills are a plus but not required.

Job Responsibilities
* Manage acute and chronic conditions in a community health outpatient setting
* Perform basic procedures such as injections, IUD placements, and minor wound care
* Support same-day walk-in and scheduled visits
* Collaborate with support staff including medical assistants, pediatricians, dietitians, mental health therapists, and administrative personnel
* Document patient encounters using EPIC EMR
* Deliver culturally competent care to vulnerable populations, including migrants and refugees
Qualifications
* Active Washington state medical license
* Active Washington DEA license
* Minimum of 2 years experience as an FNP with recent face-to-face patient contact
* Recent experience with pediatric patients required
* Clean background with no malpractice history
* Spanish or Russian language skills are a plus, but not required
Working Hours
* 8-hour workday with a 1-hour unpaid lunch
* Initial 3-month contract with the possibility of extension
* No call or weekend shifts
* Orientation includes a 1-week ramp-up; patient care begins by day 3
* Overtime only approved when daily productivity exceeds expectations
