- Other Details: A community health center in Washington is seeking a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner for a full-time outpatient role, Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (40 hours/week) with a start date as soon as credentialed (within 4 weeks preferred). The initial contract is for 3 months with the possibility to extend. Candidates must have an active WA license, active DEA, clean background with no malpractice history, and at least 2 years of FNP experience, including face-to-face contact with pediatric patients within the past year. The provider will see up to 18 patients per day, ranging from newborns to geriatrics, in a fast-paced community health center setting serving vulnerable populations including migrants and refugees (on-site interpretation available). Spanish or Russian language skills are a plus, but not required. Support staff includes a dedicated MA, receptionists, mental health therapists, dietitians, and pediatricians. Procedures may include injections, IUD placements, and minor wound care. The EMR is EPIC. Orientation is on-site, all hours billable, and patient care is expected to begin by day 3. Charting time is unpaid; only direct patient care is billable. Overtime is only approved if daily productivity expectations are exceeded and must be pre-approved.

Job Responsibilities
* Perform basic procedures including injections, IUD placements, and minor wound care
* Manage acute and chronic medical conditions
* Support walk-in and same-day care visits as needed
* Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
* Collaborate with onsite medical assistants, pediatricians, mental health therapists, dietitians, and administrative staff
* Deliver culturally sensitive care to underserved populations, including migrants and refugees
Qualifications
* Active Washington state medical license and DEA license
* Minimum 2 years of FNP experience with face-to-face patient contact in the past year
* Recent experience with pediatric patients required
* Clean background with no malpractice history
* Spanish or Russian language skills a plus, but not required
Working Hours
* 8-hour workday with 1-hour unpaid lunch
* No call or weekend shifts
* Initial 3-month contract with potential to extend
* Orientation provided with patient care expected to begin by day 3
* Overtime only approved if daily productivity threshold is exceeded
