Job Title: Family Medicine Physician

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to patients of all ages.
• Collaborate within a dynamic, physician-led care team.
• Maintain a 40-hour work week with 34 hours dedicated to direct patient contact.
• Participate in a light on-call schedule with phone-only coverage and RN triage.
• Deliver telemedicine services on designated weekends every few months.
• Engage with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and explore opportunities for increased income.
• Involve in teaching medical and NP/PA students.
• Utilize the EPIC EMR system for patient documentation and records.
• Manage an average patient load of 18–24 patients per day.
• Explore optional roles in hospital medicine or administrative leadership.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing and certification requirements.
• Note: Not seeking 1099 or visa sponsorship candidates.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Family Medicine (must be current or within 5 years of eligibility).
• Active New York State Medical License or willingness to obtain one.
• DEA and ACLS certifications by start date.
• Strong commitment to providing primary care for diverse age groups.
• Willingness to work full-time with flexible scheduling options.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• New York State Medical License.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine.
• ACLS (AHA) Certification.
• DEA Certification.
