We are seeking a Locum Tenens Primary Care Physician in Georgia.

Position Type: Locum Tenens

Rate: Open & Negotiable (Mileage costs reimbursed up to $50/day; all other travel must be included in rate)
Shift: Day shift (hours may vary, 7a–7p), No call
Start Date: ASAP (upon credentialing)
End Date: End of June 2025

Position Details:
Patient Population: Primarily adults, some pediatric patients, and underserved populations including homeless and immigrants
Setting: Outpatient public service clinic environment
Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for adults and children

• Perform pelvic exams, pap smears, and employment physicals

• May be trained to assist with HIV care and Integrated Behavioral Health (as needed)

• No supervision of other providers required

• No call, no ED backup
  Required Procedures: Basic outpatient care, pelvic exams, pap smears, employment physicals
  EMR System: Epic
  Support Staff: 6 mid-level providers on staff
  Days Per Month: Est. 20 shifts/month
  On-Call/Weekends: No call; weekend needs TBD

Submission Requirements:

• Active GA medical license and DEA – Required

• Board Certified in Family or Internal Medicine – Required

• Graduation from an accredited program in FM or IM – Required

• Minimum 5 years experience post-training – Required

• BLS certification – Required

• Local candidates only; no reimbursement for hotel, rental car, or other travel – Required

• Bilingual Spanish – Highly Preferred

• Experience with underserved/homeless populations – Highly Preferred

• Administrative/supervisory experience – Highly Preferred
