Job description
We are seeking a family medicine physician with rural medicine experience to support an open position. This locum role includes both inpatient and emergency medicine coverage.
It is just the right amount of part-time work to keep you clinically active or supplement another part-time position.
Location: Northwest Montana
Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract
Date Range: Start when possible, cover one - two weeks per month.
Compensation: Hourly Rate
Key Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts (days). 7 day stretches, one or two weeks/ month
- Compensation Details: $180.00 hourly rate
Responsibilities:
- Patient Volume, Inpatient: Averages 7-10
- Patient Volume, ER: Averages 8
- Position Requirements:
- Active Montana State Physician (MD) license
- Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS
- Active DEA registration
- Minimum 2-years of solo full-spectrum CAH emergency experience
- Inpatient experience
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be willing to provide support via phone call to PAs on the night shift
- Direct experience with medevac and patient care stabilization including intubations, chest tubes, and complicated airways; must have strong suturing skills
