Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated MD/DO to join our team at AHCC Health Services. The physician will provide direct clinical care to accomplish the mission of ensuring high-quality healthcare for patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assess physical and emotional conditions of patients during nursing triage, ambulation, care clinics, infirmary rounds, and initiate appropriate interventions according to Health Services policies and procedures, treatment plans, and protocols.
- Respond to healthcare emergencies throughout the facility as needed.
- Provide emergency medical care, including CPR, using triage format to patients; refer staff to personal physicians for care following emergency response.
- Make medical diagnoses based on subjective/objective data collected and presented by subordinate healthcare staff and initiate treatment protocols accordingly.
- Ensure practice is consistent with state licensure laws, administrative rules, policies, and procedures. Report practice deviations to immediate supervisor and participate in corrective action if necessary.
- Manage a patient volume of 10-14 patients per day.
Requirements:
- MD/DO with required certifications (BLS, DEA).
- Commitment to a 1-year term.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to provide high-quality clinical care and emergency response.
