Specialty: Family Practice
Start Date: As soon as credentialed. Provider presented should be available to start within 4 weeks.
Contract Length: 3 months, possibility to extend
Shift Details: 8a-5p, 40hrs/week. 8 hour work day with 1 hour unpaid lunch.
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Work Details:
· Support Staff: Dedicated medical assistant for each provider, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, most clinics have an onsite pediatrician and local health care administrator they will submit timecards to.
· Patient Population/Age: Newborns-Geriatrics. Provider should be comfortable working with all ages.
· Department Description: Community Health Center. Providers should have experience in these settings or express interest to work with vulnerable populations. They service migrants and refugees and have interpretative services available on site. Provider is not required to be bilingual, but would be a plus. OP ambulatory services, family medicine, walk-in/acute care services, chronic disease management. They may be caring for same day walk in patients.
· EMR: EPIC
· Special Procedures: Basic bread and butter procedures. Injections, IUD placement, minor wound care.
· Skills Required: Will be a 1 week ramp up with onsite orientation but will be expected to begin patient care by day 3.
Practice Setting:
• Outpatient ambulatory setting- Community Health Center
Travel Logistics:
· Travel: Flight, rental car or mileage and lodging.
Requirements:
· Board Certification: Required
· License Required: Active WA license required.
· DEA: Active WA DEA required.
· Minimum Experience Required: MUST have minimum of 2 years experience face to face patient contact within past year.
