Family Medicine locum coverage is needed for an Alaska tribal health clinic. This community is located in Southeast Alaska and is a popular tourist destination.
Dates Needed: Offer your available start date for a 3-month commitment
Compensation:
$185/hour for every hour in clinic
Malpractice coverage by WMS
Malpractice coverage by WMS
Travel and lodging at no expense to physician, all arranged.
Essentials:
MD / DO
PRN W2 employee of the client, no schedule obligation required.
BLS / ACLS / DEA
Any unincumbered state medical license
Board certification ABFM
Two years of practice experience preferred
Ideal candidate with have experience specific to gerontology
Ideal candidate with have experience specific to gerontology
Facility Credentialing Details:
Takes about 5 weeks, Emergency Credential for clear file.
Provider must be FULLY vaccinated
Practice details and Schedule:
Clinic Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, or 4 10 hr days = 40 hrs per week
No call/ no weekends
10 - 15 patients per day
Outpatient primary care for ages newborn through geriatric.
General gyn, Simple procedures (Suturing, I&D)
General gyn, Simple procedures (Suturing, I&D)
MA assigned for rooming patients, with RN back-up
Emergencies go to community hospital in town
Business casual
Logistics:
Physician will fly into the community
Vehicle provided
Fully furnished apartment
Family member welcome, no pets
