Rural Health Services is a Federally Qualified Health Center with the CIMS network and is a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join our dedicated clinical team. Our location in Aiken, SC is ideal for young or older families with beautiful weather, an active downtown, and easy access to Augusta, GA and Columbia, SC.

Position Overview
We are looking for leaders passionate about population health and patient centered care. Our health model has numerous support services integrated within our organization including case management, leadership focused on quality, and behavioral health. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will provide comprehensive outpatient care to patients in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver full-scope primary care for adult and geriatric patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support holistic patient care.
• Participate in preventive health and chronic disease management.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in the EHR.
• Adhere to all clinical quality measures and organizational standards.
• Rotate as 1st or 2nd Call with additional Adult Medicine Providers in the outpatient practice.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Active South Carolina medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Current DEA and Basic Life Support Certifications.
• Strong commitment to health equity and community-focused care.

Working Hours

Full Time - M-F 8-5, no nights or weekends

· Ability to work effectively with associates, as well as with supervisors, in the various units of the organization.
