Required Skills:
- MD or DO medical degree with active license in good standing
- Proven experience in general medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, or related fields
- Familiarity with physical assessments, range of motion testing, and muscle strength evaluation
- Ability to conduct interview-based assessments efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Capacity to work independently in a self-owned or private practice setting
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience performing Compensation & Pension exams or military health assessments
- Knowledge of VA or federal healthcare processes
- Certification in DMA or relevant training, though not mandatory for onboarding
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in a general medicine setting
- Experience working with Veteran populations is a plus
Other Requirements:
- Own or lease a private office within the specified radius for each location
- Willingness to work PRN days including weekends if needed
- Ability to complete exams remotely with minimal supervision
- Must adhere to the hourly rate structure and scheduling preferences
- Local candidates preferred; travel expenses included in the pay rate
