Required Skills:
- MD or DO from accredited medical school
- Valid state medical license in Arizona
- Board certification or eligibility in family medicine, internal medicine, or related fields
- Excellent interview and physical assessment skills
- Ability to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with medical documentation and report submission
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with veteran-related assessments or military healthcare
- Prior work in government or military healthcare settings
- proficiency in handling Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams
- Experience in orthopedic surgery or musculoskeletal assessments
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD/DO) from an accredited institution
- At least 1-2 years of clinical practice in general medicine or related specialty
- Prior experience with compensation and pension exams preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of veterans' health requirements and certification processes
Other Requirements:
- Candidates must reside within specified radii of assigned locations or have own office setup
- Willingness to work on a PRN, ongoing basis, with flexible scheduling
- Completion of required training and exams, including bonus qualification
- Travel expenses included in rates for local candidates; no reimbursement for additional certifications or portal training
- No prescribing or treatment responsibilities; focus solely on interviews and assessments
