Required Skills:
- Medical license valid in New York State
- Board-certified or eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or related general medicine fields
- Prior experience with compensation and pension exams is advantageous
- Excellent interview and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testing
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and adhere to protocols
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working within government or veteran healthcare settings
- Familiarity with VA or military health assessments
- Prior telemedicine or remote assessment experience
- Additional certifications in related specialties
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Minimum of 2 years clinical practice, preferably with experience in general medicine or veteran exams
- Proven ability to complete documentation accurately and efficiently
Other Requirements:
- Must own a suitable office location in NY for conducting exams
- Travel expenses included in rate; local candidates only
- Willingness to perform both half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) shifts
- No prescribing or treatment responsibilities
- Quick credentialing and onboarding process
- Available to start on 02/02/2026, with ongoing PRN engagement
